After breakfast, you will be warmly greeted by your private chauffeur-guide, who will accompany you on a scenic drive north to Wilpattu National Park. Check into your lodge and unwind.

Start the day with a thrilling morning game drive in Wilpattu, accompanied by a local naturalist. This park is renowned for its healthy leopard population, diverse birdlife,
and abundant mammals. Spend the afternoon at leisure, or explore the lodge grounds: borrow a bicycle, follow the bird trail, or join an evening walk to try spotting the elusive loris.

Travel south to Sigiriya today and check into your hotel for the next three nights. Enjoy a
leisurely afternoon, relaxing in the serene surroundings or exploring the property.

This morning, climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Marvel at the ancient frescoes and
panoramic views from the top. In the afternoon, your chauffeur-guide will take you
to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa to explore its well-preserved ruins and archaeological
treasures.

Venture into either Minneriya National Park, or the nearby Eco Park (season permitting).
Watch elephants, monkeys, deer, buffalo and more in their natural habitat, while over 150 bird species flit through the trees. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, depart from Habarana for your journey to Nuwara Eliya, a scenic drive of
approximately 4.5 hours. En route, stop in Kandy to visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth;
this remarkable Buddhist temple is where the relic of Buddha's Tooth is kept. Continue
towards Nuwara Eliya, taking in the beautiful vistas of tea plantations and tea factories
along the way. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, unwind, and end the day with dinner.

Today you will head out to trek part of the Pekoe Trail, a hiking trail that threads through
around 300 km of Sri Lanka's hill country. You will explore a section with your local guide
this morning, taking you across the gardens, villages and tea plantations of Nuwara Eliya, also known as 'Little England' for its legacy of British Colonial Influence. Relax this afternoon at your charming bungalow.

As the train winds its way through misty mountains, lush tea plantations, cascading
waterfalls, and charming villages, take in the breathtaking views that make this route
world-famous.

Yala National Park, famous for having Asia’s highest leopard density. Embark on a morning safari to spot leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and an array of birdlife. Spend the afternoon at leisure: relax at your lodge, stroll along the nearby beaches, or join a
guided bird-watching session.

Transfer to Galle via Udawalawe Today you travel to the southwest coast of Sri Lanka,
passing Udawalawe National Park. Stop for a game drive and visit the Elephant Transit Centre, where orphaned or unwell elephants receive care before being released back into the wild. Arrive in Ahangama or Galle and check into your beachfront hotel.

Spend the morning exploring Hiyare Bird Sanctuary, a tropical rainforest home to diverse birdlife, flora, and fauna. The remainder of the day is yours to relax by the beach or enjoy your hotel’s facilities.

Take to the sea for a boat excursion to spot whales and dolphins along the southwest coast. Return to your hotel for an afternoon of leisure.

Your final full day in Sri Lanka is free to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. Optionally, visit the historic Galle Fort for shopping or a stroll along the ramparts.

Your chauffeur-guide will transfer you to Colombo Airport in time for your return flight home, concluding an unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka’s wildlife,
