After arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Ubud.The transfer takes about one hour from the airport to the Ubud area (depending on traffic). After checking-in to the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Explore Ubud more intensively with a wealth of cultural activities today. We start with a visit to Batubulan village which is famed for its exquisite stone carvings. Here you will have the opportunity to watch a barong and kris dance performance which relates the mythical struggle between good and evil.
Next, we head to Celuk, a centre of excellence for silver products. For an insight into local life, we visit Batuan to view a traditional Balinese home, followed by Mas village which is famed for its skilled artisans who create exceptional woodcarvings. We then head back to Ubud. This town is considered the cultural beating heart of Bali with many fine art galleries that showcase both Indonesian and foreign artists’ work. Lastly, we visit Puri Saren Agung Palace, the former base of the royal family who ruled Ubud from the late 1800’s until 1917.

See the key cultural sights of Bali on this exciting transfer tour to Lovina. Our first stop is at Tanah Lot Temple, one of the holiest shrines in Bali. Next is Jatiluwih, known for its panoramic rice terraces which cling to the mountainside – a unique spectacle that has gained UNESCO World Heritage status.
We continue our drive to Bedugul, an attractive mountain resort located 850 metres above sea level, where we visit Ulundanu Temple, dedicated to the goddess Dewi Danu, followed by the cooler climate of elevated Munduk village which enjoys a refreshing breeze from a forest waterfall surrounded by lush tropical plantations.

In the morning you will depart from the hotel and visit a traditional market in Seririt. Here you can immerse yourself in the daily lives of the villagers as they buy their typical goods in a lively, colourful setting. Next, we pay a visit to Beji Temple. Built in the 15th century, this is dedicated to the rice goddess Dewi Sri and especially revered by local farmers. We then drove to the mountain resort of Kintamani where we enjoyed views over Lake Batur.
The last visit of the day will be to Taman Tirta Gangga (Water Palace) which contains pools and ornamental ponds that serve as a fascinating reminder of the Balinese rajah’s golden days. We then proceed to Besakih Temple, located on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali’s highest volcano. This complex contains 24 temples and is known as the ‘Mother Temple of Bali’ as it houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese.

After breakfast at the hotel, spend the morning at leisure until the check-out time (usually 12 noon). Should there be any day use of the room until the latest time of 6 pm, there will be a surcharge and this is subject to availability. At a given time, you will be picked up and directly to the airport to catch your onward flight.
