Start this immersive four-day adventure with exploration of Bali’s rich culture. From our hotel in South Bali, we will set off on a sight-seeing drive to Ubud. En route, we stop at Batubulan village, which is famous for its stone carving. Here, we will watch a traditional barong and kris dance show which describes the eternal struggle between good and evil.
We then continue to Celuk, a famed hub of silversmiths, followed by Batuan to visit a Balinese traditional home, ahead of meeting some expert woodcarvers in Mas. We then continue to our final destination of the day, Ubud, Bali’s cultural beating heart that is dotted with galleries displaying art from local and foreign artists. Here, we visit Puri Saren Agung, the home of the royal family who ruled Ubud from the late 1800s to 1917. We then check-in to our hotel, with the rest of the day at leisure.

Bathe in Bali’s breath-taking bounty of natural beauty as we head to Lovina. We check-out of our hotel and take to the road, stopping first at Jatiluwih to admire the impressive UNESCO World Heritage rice terraces. After enjoying views of the lush ride terraces, we continue to Bedugul, an attractive mountain resort located 850 metres above sea level. Here, we will visit Ulundanu Temple which is dedicated to the goddess Dewi Danu.
Afterwards, we drive to Munduk village to take a stroll through the forest to a striking waterfall and on to the hot springs at Banjar village. Don’t forget your bathers because you can take a soothing dip in the refreshing springs.

We continue our exploration of Bali as we hit the road to Candi Dasa. After the check-out from our hotel, we take to the road for Seririt to visit a traditional market. Next, we visit Beji Temple, before driving to the mountain resort of Kintamani to enjoy sublime views across picturesque Lake Batur. Our next stop is Besakih Temple, which is nestled on the slopes of Mount Agung, Bali’s highest volcano. This is a complex of 24 temples and it is known as the ‘Mother Temple of Bali’ as it houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese.
Finally, we enjoy a visit to Taman Tirta Gangga (Water Palace), which is dotted with stunning pools and ornamental ponds that serve as a fascinating reminder of the Balinese Rajah’s rule. We then check-in to our overnight accommodation.

Spend the morning exploring the coastal town of Candi Dasa before bidding a fond farewell to our guide. The Eastern town of Candi Dasa is a popular tourist destination with plenty of activities to keep us entertained until our departure. Beach lovers wanting to squeeze in some downtime on powdery white sands can head to Pasir Putih Beach, which is located about 4 km from the town. A stroll around the fresh water lagoon, Candi Dasa Lagoon, is another option.
The town rests on the edge of the lagoon, which is dotted with pretty pink lotus flowers. Alternatively, you can relax at the resort, or take a stroll through Candi Dasa before we check-out of the hotel and take to the road to our next destination. This brings an end to our four-day fun-filled adventure.
